WELDING

HDVS uses certified, trained welders for steel and aluminium welding, under the supervision of certified welding engineers who has been trained and certified as International Welding Engineers.

The Welding procedure and our Welders have been certified according to EN ISO 3834-Part 2/2005 (from TUV HELLAS), according to DIN 2303, Q2, BK1 for Defense material weldings (from SLV / Germany) and according to DIN 2303, Q3, BK1 for Armoured Steel Weldings (from BwB / Germany). Also HDVS is qualified from RAYTHEON (USA) for weldings according AWS D17.1 & WS33739.

The range of our equipment includes machines capable of welding using the following methods:

TIG / MIG / MAG / SMAW

Welding is continuously checked, by certified welding inspectors (level 2), according to customer’s requirements with the following tests:

• Visual inspection (VI)
• Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Magnetic particles inspection (MT)
• X-Rays testing and Film interpretation (RT-RI)
